One of the benefits of membership in BOMA is the potential to develop new relationships within the commercial real estate community. By joining a BOMA Committee, you gain access to a wide variety of information as well as the opportunity to meet and work side-by-side with your peers in the industry.

Committee Descriptions
Emerging Leaders
To provide career building advice, educational opportunities and leadership development to the industry’s Emerging Leaders. This committee is split into two groups - Associate Members & Building Members - to better tailor to a members career training needs.
Associates Council
To make available to all members the technical and specialty knowledge available from member vendors and suppliers. To schedule, plan and coordinate the annual vendor show, along with other social events including our quarterly happy hours.

Professional Development
Golf Outing Committee
To develop, organize, implement and review the annual membership golf outing.
Programs Committee
Energy & Sustainability
Evaluates issues relating to energy procurement, green technologies, conservation and sustainability. Monitors upcoming compliance issues, while also educating regulators about the potential challenges of proposed mandates and recommends policy positions and actions.
Enginners Committee
To develop workshops, seminars and building tours that relate to and enhance the operations and maintenance of building systems.
Nominating Committee
To nominate the number of candidates for the Board of Directors of the Association for the ensuing year to fill the vacancies which will occur at the next Annual Meeting of the Association.
Membership & Dues
To develop strategies and marketing techniques for increasing BOMA’s membership and provide recruitment assistance. Review and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding membership dues.
Executive Committee
Oversees the organizations resources, monitors, and strengthens programs and services between meetings of the Board of Directors or as delegated.
Board of Directors
The BOMA Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization. It is responsible to ensure organizational planning and goal setting while managing the organizations’ resources. The Board also determines, monitors and strengthens programs and services for all members. The Board of Directors must also ensure the legal and ethical integrity of the organization.
